I bought a OneXPlayer and figured a clean Windows install would be straightforward. It wasn’t. Needed the drivers afterward, went to their site, and half of it felt outdated. Old links, downloads that wouldn’t finish, random dead ends. I contacted support and got this vague reply that didn’t really answer anything.

So I ended up bouncing around forums, trying random fixes, just to get basic stuff like sound and controls working again. Not exactly what you expect after paying that much. The device itself is fine, I guess, but the support side left a really bad taste. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

I bought mine from onexplayerstore.com, and yeah, the storage performance has been a real letdown. Games take forever to load, and even just copying files is way slower than I thought it would be. It also randomly freezes sometimes when I’m installing updates, which is super frustrating. For the price, I mean, this really doesn’t feel acceptable. Kind of wish I had looked into it more before buying.

I tried to get help with my warranty claim, but they mostly just kept putting it off and giving me vague updates. It felt like nothing was really getting handled, just a lot of waiting around...

I’m disappointed. The fans get loud almost right away, the unit heats up fast, and then performance starts slowing down not long after. It kind of feels like they focused more on pushing the product out and making money than making sure it actually runs well for more than a short stretch.

It works fine overall, but for me the fan noise gets loud way too quickly. I expected it to be a bit quieter at this price, so it’s been kind of annoying to use

I’d only post this if I genuinely ran into the issue myself. If the product had real performance problems, I’d explain what happened in my own words and compare it to similar products I’ve used, so people know whether it’s actually worse, better, or just different from the rest.
